General Membership Report

July 4, 2018

Aloha all!Our annual General Membership Meeting was held on June 27, 2018 at the Castle Little Theatre.

It was a great meeting with several guest speakers, Windward Ho`olaule`a's chair Bonnie Beatson, Carlos Severson from Castle's Agriculture Program and farm, and Big Brother Big Sisters' Margaret Cadiz. They shared information about their programs and how we as members can support it.

President Paul Luersen presented a report on the past year's activities which is outlined in his report below. Click on the report to download a pdf version.

BIG Mahalo to Paul and Karen Ho`okano (class of '72) who made a $100 donation to help Castle's softball team with their batting cage.

Carlos Severson, Castle's farm manager, is seeking volunteers to assist with a community work day on the farm. Did you know the school has seven acres of farm land? Here is an aerial view:Carlos is passionate about the farm and has established a list of tasks that he wants completed, but needs volunteer help. The farm has been neglected for many years and rehabilitation will take some work. Here is his list.

If you're able to help in any way, please complete the volunteer form below and select Farm and we will put you in touch with Carlos.
